Neostrata is the inventor of AHA and PHA formulations and they hold the patent for these ingredients. This lotion has been re-formulated to reduces the potential of stinging and burning (do still sting for sensitive skin people). If I’m feeling like to exfoliate my skin in some nights then I use this lotion as a moisturizer. Though it is a lotion but it has cream to lotion consistency. It moisturizes and exfoliates my skin well and leaves it smooth when I wake up. Sometimes, I do use it conjunction with serum (if i have budget to buy one, I like Olay Regenerist) as AHA deliver antioxidants effectively to the skin due to its properties (like most other exfoliaters too!). This combo revitalizes my skin by making it looking fresh. I do apply this lotion every night (not after shaving) all over my legs (am I crazy, yes I am) to even out the skin tone (and yes it is working but must be patient!). For those who are looking for effective AHA product at very great price (200ml, RM 115.00), this is for you. AHA (10% and above) do have anti aging property too!
P/s: For those who have sensitive skin, this is not for you. Use PHA or BHA formulation instead. You have to try which exfoliater works well for you but as for me, both work great!. I alternate use this lotion (a year period) with Paula’s Choice 2%BHA gel to keep their effectiveness.
